Back in the day, circa 2009, it was common to spot dozens of bunnies when cycling on the Skokie Valley Bikeway. Thus, the nickname "The Bunny Trail". But I have not seen any so far this year. Predators? Disease? Or something else?
Of course, I am guessing that the Skokie Valley Bikeway will forever be known as The Bunny Trail, regardless of whether there are any bunnies to be seen. Heck, we're still calling Visconti's by it old name Caputo'.
