The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced that repairs to the Park Ave (IL 176) bridge over the Des Plaines River in Libertyville will begin April 19.
To complete the work, Park Ave from Hough St to Ashbury Lane will be reduced to one-way traffic controlled by a temporary signal. The North Shore Bike Path will be closed at the bridge, and is expected to be reopened by May 28. The project is expected to be completed in July.
