On Sunday, May 28 we will ride to see the murals on the viaduct on Hubbard Street in Chicago. This is a casual paced ride. The ride leaves Panera at 8 am. We are leaving early as we will get off of our bikes when we get to the murals and walk for up to an hour to take in over a half mile of murals. I am copying the email the Skokie Bike Network, a co- leader of the ride, posted to it's email group.--

Hubbard Street Murals Ride this Sunday at 8:00am
Hubbard Street Murals - Sunday, May 28th, 8:00am - Panera, Wilmette - In lieu of the traditional Bike The Drive (now held on Labor Day weekend) SBN's David Barish is leading a ride to the Hubbard St. Murals between Elizabeth (1300) and Peoria (830) on Hubbard. A half mile of art!! The ride will be an Evanston Bike Club/ Skokie Bike Network ride so there may be a handful of riders. It will start at Panera in Wilmette but will eventually take the Channel Trail to where it ends at the boat house near Lane Tech and then get to Clybourn and Damen down to Hubbard. We will come back via the Lakefront trail. It will be about 34 miles round trip from Panera in Wilmette. The ride will stop at Mindy's on Damen on the way to the murals. When we get there we will get off our bikes and walk the bikes looking at murals for likely an hour before we ride back north.
