The ride will follow the lakefront to the Zoo. We will park at the main entrance and spend 90 minutes at the Zoo. You can observe the exhibits and have lunch during this time. There are several restaurants, or you may choose to pack a lunch.
The zoo is on land previously used as a cemetery. The graves were moved to another location to create parkland. Not all the bodies were removed. For this reason, I have been advised to avoid certain locations in the Zoo - especially around Halloween! You should avoid the Farm-in-the-Zoo and the ladies restroom for this reason.
