Rides

It's after Memorial Day, so we are in the period where beer garden dining is appropriate, and maybe even required.  If only Chicago weather would cooperate.  And so...

Join us this week as we take our first ride of this year's Brewpub series down to Malt Row, and specifically the outdoor beer garden at Half Acre Beer Company.  Our total distance is expected to be a touch under 24 miles.

Beer Notes: Half Acre is one of the most important breweries in modern Chicago craft beer history; they were (along with Revolution) one of the early second wave brewers to become commercially successful, and to gain lasting acclaim for their APA's and IPA's.  This month, the beer menu features a collaboration with the famous Firestone Walker Brewery from Central California, called Daisy Cutter Union.  That collaboration is why I moved Half Acre up in my schedule, I am looking forward to tasting a half-pint of Union! before it's gone!  The entire beverage menu is here: https://halfacrebeer.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/05.21.2025-Draft-Menu.pdf
