It is finally time for the annual Wild Mile visit which is the first of its kind of floating eco-park with a wildlife approach to public greenspace. After visiting the park we'll bike over to the Cafe Yaya (next door to Galit restaurant) for a light luncheon fare.
Distance around: 25-28 + miles round trip. Weather forecast shows partly cloudy skies, temp mid to high 70s, maybe 20% chance of shower in later afternoon,and wind NNE 10-15 mph. Given the direction of the wind we will "sail" down the lakefront trail with the wind at our backs, and take an inner western passage back to Evanston- probably arriving back around 2-2:30 PM
