Pumpkinvine Classic

Ride through northern Indiana’s beautiful, rolling farmland on routes ranging in distance from 19 miles to 63 miles (a metric century).  You may even share the road with an Amish horse and buggy!  The ride starts and ends at Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury, IN (140 miles from Evanston).  There are various hotels in the area to stay overnight or make it a weekend getaway.  In addition, there are things to see and do in Amish Country for the non-riders or after the ride!  The cost to register for the ride is $55 with a group dinner and pie at the end of the ride.

Join me at the start at 8:15 AM (eastern time) to sign in for EBC. I'll be riding at a moderate pace for either 40 or 63 miles, depending on weather and hills, but participants can ride at whatever pace and distance they prefer.

I have reservations for a group dinner on Friday night so let me know if you’re going to be there so that you are included in the reservation! Please share your cell number so that we can stay connected for any last minute changes. I also have reserved a table at a brewery for Sat night - we can gather and share our day's adventures.
