When I showed this to map to my wife, she guessed it was a bike route. A logical guess, but for those of us that are voters in the the Illinois 9th Congressional District, you may recognize it as the borders of our voting district. Apologies for the misleading subject line for those that were expecting a new bike route. But it does reinforce the idea that voters no longer select their politicians, politicians now select their voters. And my admiration goes out to Indiana politicians for refusing a mid-decade further gerrymandering of their already gerrymandered Congressional districts.
P.S. I also apologize for adding a political tinted post to this forum which could easily become overrun with political commentary. But at least it is almost cycling related
